MDE Koala 150

Although small in stature the Koala 150 should never be underestimated, this is a very powerful little shear. The K150 is an ideal attachment for use in the utilities sector, as well as forestry thinning. Weighing only 104kg makes the shear a good choice for small excavators, but still boast an impressive 6”/ 150mm cutting diameter.

A key feature of the Koala Tree Shear design is the replaceable blade in the event it gets damaged in extreme use. Another important feature is the bolt on hitch allowing you to switch the tree shear onto other excavators. Having the bolt on hitch also gives you the option to use the tree shear on other machines such as telehandlers, skid steers, and cranes.

Our Koala 150 tree shear is a powerhouse. It’s made for smaller jobs where smaller trees need to be removed. The 150 takes a firm grip of the tree, then the hydraulic ram pushes the cutting edge against the trunk and cuts through it.
