The XYLOG 800 is driven by two 3-phase engines. It uses a 3-chain feeding deck up to 8m in length (for the stationary version). The feeding conveyor and 2 ‘V’-shaped bands 400 m wide and 4 m long ensure the correct placement of wood leading to the cutting system. It is quick and easy to adjust the cutting length from 25omm to 500mm, cutting bottom to top for better productivity, making it time-saving for small diameter logs.
The buffer zone, with a 3-meter conveyor, is perfect for continuous log feeding to the splitting area, which uses two independent blades with three independent press devices for better wood holding.
The blades use the IOS power system to control the speed and required power. The chainsaw is self-tensioning and self-lubricating.
