The FSI B31 980 has a larger engine, 38 HP, compared to the 26.5 HP of the B31 790 model. The hydraulic system has been upgraded to maximise this extra power, and the chassis has been lengthened to accommodate the larger engine. However, it remains a compact machine with great manoeuvrability, easy-to-use controls, a large working area, and no daily maintenance requirements.
The operator panel swings at a 90-degree angle, ensuring excellent visibility and control access. Being only 74 cm wide, the stump grinder can easily pass through narrow gates and passages.
