The Scorpion S1600 Excavator Grab was the first in the Scorpion range. With a heavy-duty Hardox® chassis and 30mm Hardox® teeth, the Scorpion S1600 is not short on build strength. Clamping force is not an issue with this Scorpion, as it features two massive hydraulic cylinders. With powerful cylinders and an impressive 1390mm jaw opening width, the Scorpion makes it easy to clamp onto boulders or stumps and take them away. This Scorpion is ideal for ripping through forestry roots, picking out boulders, and loading materials.

With a purposefully built heavy chassis, this model is one of the most heavy duty excavators grabs you’ll come across, weighing 1487kg. This heavy design ensures that it is stronger, more resilient and robust than anything else in its market category. The Scorpion is simple to use and set up; connect the grab to the excavator’s hammer lines, and you will have full control of the Scorpion’s powerful hydraulic cylinders.

Like all MDE Scorpions, the Scorpion S1600 Excavator Grab comes with Hardox® chassis and teeth. Equipped with two powerful hydraulic cylinders. A key feature of the Scorpion design is the fixed position of one side of the grapple, as this allows the excavator operator to use it like a bucket, and clamp with the other grapple. Another important feature is the bolt-on hitch, allowing you to switch the Excavator Grab onto other Excavators.
